Market men and women in the Asuogyaman District precisely Atimpoku market are blaming the district Assemble and people in charge, for not providing the market basic social amenities to ensure their comfort in the market.
People from near and far places like Akosombo, Agomenya, New Akrade, Afaben etc normally participate in the marketing activities every Monday which is market days in Atimpoku.
Both buyers and sellers in an interview with Asuogyaman FM revealed their major problem being in the market as lack of toilet facility.
According to them, the toilet which is available has full up more than a year , but the district assemble has given death ears to it, people have to visit plantain farms around the market to ease their selves , which end up causing odor all over the market and there is a fear of diseases outbreak.
They are appealing to the government of Ghana to come to their aid, because they are suffering which is marking life uncomfortable for them.
